We're doing well here in Archbold, OH. We had another rain storm but it didn't last very long. The farmers in our area must be in a panic! Our summer so far has been rainy, with lots and lots of it soaking the ground. Farmers had to plant early this spring, but it has to be frustrating not to be able to have a little control of their crops.
I hate to admit it, but I've gotten away from my graphic sites. I only have the one as well as LadyAmp. I seem to have my attention drawn to quilting. I do love it. I learn a lot just trying to make one block at a time. Ü. My sister Sue has made some beautiful quilts. I hope I can learn to be as good at it as she is. Ü I'm building my stash as much as I can. Walmart is my favorite place to find good fabric. I've learned that if I'm patient, the fabric I want will be on sale sooner or later. The fabric I want can be $3.99 yard, but Walmart will mark it down to $1.00 - $2.00 a yard, which is super! That's what happened this afternoon. I went to Walmart for groceries and ended up going to the fabric department. LOL...LOL...what's new huh?? Ü I found some fabric which I feel is a generic brand to Debbie Mumm's fabric which goes for $7.50 a yard!! Ugh!! WAAAYYY to much.
Next month is our Carp Festival. LOL...LOL...I know, CARP???? Isn't that a fish? LOL..LOL...Yes, it is a fish, but I can't figure out why they call it that?? The festival is about 3 blocks away from our place, so I think I can walk to it this year. Ü Ü
Well, I think I'm going to start a new quilt top, I found a really nice pattern on the internet which I love, so I'm going to cut out the pattern. Ü What a great way to spend my time. Ü
Gotta run! Love you all!!
