Tuesday Morning

Morning Everyone,

Hope you all are doing well. We had some thunderstorms yesterday with lots of rain. The weatherman says we're going to have only sprinkles for the next few days.

I made another block for my sampler quilt and I'm also in the middle of completing another one. It turned out pretty good. I am having a blast with my new sewing machine. Ed and I went to Walmart on Sunday and the fabric department is almost completely gone. I couldn't believe it! I've been buying fabric frantically with sales of 75% off their normal price. I actually only paid 33 cents a yard for some of the fabric. I was talking to one of the clerks in the fabric department and she told me that Walmart was still planning on selling patterns (Simplicity, McCall's, New Look, etc.), which is really strange. Why would you sell patterns if you aren't selling fabric to go along with the patterns????

Ed is doing well. He had an appointment with his cardiologist last week and he's doing well enough that his doc doesn't need to see him for 6 months.

I'm off to do some laundry. Ü
